NCIA's Chief Executive visit to KHTP

The Chief Executive of the Northern Corridor Implementation Authority or NCIA, Y.Bhg. Dato’ Redza Rafiq Abdul Razak visited Kulim Hi-Tech Park and met up for a round table discussion with KITA members on the 28th of January 2010 at SilTerra. Kulim Technology Park Corporation or KTPC were also present to lend support and feedback during the meeting.

KITA took the opportunity to give appreciation to NCIA for giving support to KHTP through many important KITA-NCIA collaborations such as the initiatives for NCITES, Bomba Hazmat, Kulim Hospital and NUFET.  KITA was also appreciative of KTPC's role in many of the collaborative efforts and the excellent working relationship between KITA, KTPC and NCIA has a common goal of enhancing the KHTP to make it continuously attractive for current and future investors.

Dato' Redza was briefed on the actions that had been taken by the Federal & State government and its agencies to resolve some of the issues that had been highlighted by KITA previously. Issues that are still pending were also brought to his attention for possible review and escalation.
